Our on-site Cafe and Charity Shop Refreshed is hosting it’s annual Christmas Fayre on Saturday 16th November, from 10am to 1pm. Whether you’re looking for decorations, gifts, cards, party clothing and accessories, toys or just bric-a-brac, books, music or DVDs there is bound to be something for you. We’re also running a craft area for the children and our Cafe will also be open.
We’re very pleased to announce that our Winter Warmers, free pop-up cafe re-starts on Wednesday 20th November and runs through to 26th March 2025. The cafe runs from 3 to 6pm each Wednesday and provides free hot meals, free hot meals, a warm space and the chance to socialise with others. Everyone is very welcome to pop-in any time time the cafe is open.
This years’ Harvest Festival takes place on Sunday 29th September 2024. We will once again be collecting money and non-perishable food and toiletries for the Bradford North Foodbank and Caring for Life. Two charities that Bolton Villas Family Church has close links with. If anyone wishes to donate goods or money then please bring it to the Harvest Festival service or drop it off in Refreshed prior in advance.
Following our Harvest Festival service, which starts at 10.30am, we will be hosting a Hot Pot lunch, provided by members of our church family, to which anyone is welcome to attend.
We’re very happy to announce that Refreshed, our Cafe and Charity Shop is celebrating its 15th anniversary. Refreshed opened its doors in 2009 following a refubishment project the church undertook in the same year, our dedicated team of volunteers have been serving our community ever since. To celebrate this milestone we are opening our doors on Saturday 7th September 2024, from 11am to 3pm. We would love for you to come and join us as we celebrate.
We are pleased to announce that our next Encounter Night will take place on Friday 28th June 2024, starting at 7.30pm. Our Encounter Nights are fantastic evenings of prayer and worship and everyone is very welcome to join us.
Christians Together in Wrose invite you to a carol service in the garden of The Wrose Bull on Saturday 16th December at 5pm. Come sing and hear the joyful Christmas story and hope for the World, and join in the Christmas Joy, accompanied by The Salvation Army.
Our next Encounter Night takes place on Friday 8th December, starting at 7.30pm. These events are a wonderful way encounter the Holy Spirit, to worship the living God and to praise His Holy name. We’ve love to see you if you’re free.
We’re very pleased to announce that we are supporting The Bradford Soup Run again this Christmas by collecting socks and chocs for their annual Christmas Day appeal. If you want to help us then you can drop off blocks of chocolates, (new) socks, scarves, hats and gloves either in Refreshed or come along to our Family Service on Sunday 3rd December.
Our Winter Warmers pop-up cafe is back. It re-started on Wednesday 22nd November and will run through to March 2024. If you are struggling with rising costs, then do come along to our warm space for free hot drinks and a free hot meal. Everyone is welcome.
