Christmas Services 2025

Bolton Villas Family Church is pleased to announce details of our Christmas services for 2025. These include:

  • Family Pop-Up Nativity and Carol Service on Sunday 21st December, starting at 10.30am.
  • Christmas Eve Communion service on Wednesday 24th December, starting at 7.30pm.
  • Christmas Day Family Celebration on Thursday 25th December, starting at 10.30am.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish every a Happy Christmas and a Peace-filled 2026.

Do come and join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

125th Anniversary Weekend

2025 is a very big year for Bolton Villas Family Church, as it’s our 125th Anniversary year having been set-up in 1900 (see our About Us page for a brief potted history of our church). We’re now delighted to be able to annouce details of how we’re celebrating this momentus occasion on our anniversary weekend, 13th and 14th September.

We’re welcoming Kingdom Wrestling back to BV following their last visit in 2019. This event which is taking place on Saturday 13th September from 6-9pm will see our main hall transformed into a wrestling arena as we welcome back Gareth Angel and other stars from Kingdom Wrestling for an epic night out for the whole family. Following our Sunday morning worship service on 14th September, we’ll be transforming yet again for a Victorian Afternoon Tea, running from 2-4pm. The cost for this event is just £5 per head. Tickets for this event can be purchased from Refreshed, our cafe and charity shop during opening hours or by emailing info@bvurc.org.uk.

We will then be rounding off a full weekend of activities with a Festival of Praise worship evening, which will run from 6-8pm to which everyone is welcome (tickets are not needed).

Socks and Chocs

We’re very pleased to announce that we are supporting The Bradford Soup Run again this Christmas by collecting socks and chocs for their annual Christmas Day appeal. If you want to help us then you can drop off blocks of chocolates, (new) socks, scarves, hats and gloves either in Refreshed or come along to our Family Service on Sunday 1st December.

Harvest Festival and Hot Pot Sunday

This years’ Harvest Festival takes place on Sunday 29th September 2024. We will once again be collecting money and non-perishable food and toiletries for the Bradford North Foodbank and Caring for Life. Two charities that Bolton Villas Family Church has close links with. If anyone wishes to donate goods or money then please bring it to the Harvest Festival service or drop it off in Refreshed prior in advance.

Following our Harvest Festival service, which starts at 10.30am, we will be hosting a Hot Pot lunch, provided by members of our church family, to which anyone is welcome to attend.

Encounter Night

Our next Encounter Night takes place on Friday 8th December, starting at 7.30pm. These events are a wonderful way encounter the Holy Spirit, to worship the living God and to praise His Holy name. We’ve love to see you if you’re free.
